Had this discussion yesterday, pretty much everything Amazon does is just good enough. Never great, never quite bad just good enough. From store functionality to streaming service and even games now apparently that’s the aim.

Josh funny one! Mentioning AGS and saying they have 'talent and skill' in the same sentencr. It made me giggle! Appart from the graphics in New World, I don't think AGS has talent nor skills when it comes to maintaining their own game. every update up until now broke something in the game. After many updates they still don't know how to properly manage their own infrastructure.

I believe the constant ''Breaking stuff everytime they fix stuff'' demonstrated the dev have a very very poor mastery over their code, lack of QA and inability to resolve merge conflict...

their decision making team is also very suspicious, with the timegating everywhere, Capture the point mode launching without giving any contribution point for capturing point, awful balance...

I wouldn't say new world have talented people working for it... except the sound / graphic team.

Overwhelmed can feel bad when to much is going on but the process of turning overwhelmed into whelmed is one of the best experiences in video games

It's a fine MMO, a 5/10 (at a stretch). But why would you spend any time on a 5/10 game when the industry is saturated with 7/10 games and there's quite a lot of 9s and 10s
