League 1 is a very tough, competitive division: next season Derby, Wycombe, Wednesday, Bolton or Barnsley, the relegated teams. Another bunch of free transfers and loanees won't work. Let's see if the Eisners provide any funding. I somehow doubt it.

The Eisner's made half a Billion selling Topps. Yes they've done good stuff investing in the Stadium and facilities, but they need to show intent in the summer transfer window. We sacked Cowley and appointed a manager with even less experience. That was a negative move in my view, but I'm behind Mousinho and the team, but we do need to spend over the summer.

John's heart is with Oxford Utd, Pompey is just a stepping stone for him gaining some experience until he is ready to take the Oxford job full time. Prime example, @ 4:25 'if and when they do get out of this league'. Talking about us like a club he has no affiliation with!!

Recruitment is one thing. Also getting the players motivated to put the effort in and fight for the team. Players plodding about sulking and disinterested has been a frequent serious problem for a long time since before Mousinho. Why is this allowed to happen? Sort it out. Any players seen not trying, just get them out of the club! There's been clear dressing room issues which negatively affect the teams performances and results far too often...
