I remember reading about these bones in an issue of National Geographic probably in the 80s. Those images were nightmare fuel for a long time.

Fun fact: that’s actually how leopards kill. Unlike other big cats, leopards attack the head. It’s actually a lot more efficient as they puncture the skull.

Just like they hunt baboons. Anything can be on a leopards menu. One of the widest prey menus out there. From fish to birds to other cats to dogs. And all the other prey animals in-between.
