Kreg Rip-Cut: Setup and Review

Here's how to set up the Kreg Rip-Cut jig. It is a great tool for breaking down large sheet goods with a circular saw. It can also help you out if like me you don't own a table saw to replace some of its functions. After showing the assembly I take it out for a test run in the carpark of my local timber shop.

If you're interested in a Kreg Rip-Cut or other Kreg Gear and want to support the channel, I'll provide some Amazon links for the USA & UK, and my Carbatec Affiliate link for Australia. They don't cost you any more but do provide me with a small kickback. Cheers!

Kreg Rip-Cut:

Here you'll find almost all the tools I use in my shop from the Bosch Mitre saw to Glue and Sandpaper :D

Between the Rip Cut and the Accu Cut, I don't even use my table saw to break down sheet goods anymore. It's easier, safer, and best of all one sled fits both jigs.
The one thing I've learned though, is to keep an eye on the saw to sled orientation and make sure that the sole plate (shoe) of the saw stays butted up to the sled. It usually happens when ripping wider cuts, from diagonal torque, you need to make sure that the edge guide and the saw sled are moving at the same pace.
But don't get me wrong, I'm not about to kick my table saw, radial arm saw, or miter saw to the curb just yet.
I'm with you I like Kreg tools too. I have more Kreg products than I'm willing to admit to my wife.
Enjoyed the video, cheers from Canada.

This is certainly another one worth picking up in the Kreg line. I was surprised this one won't break the bank. It should go quite nicely with my Ryobi Brushless.

Hi, thanks for sharing and the review only thing I noticed you never checked is when you attached the track to the end of the guide and screwed it in you never checked for an exact 90° angle because a lot of customers have complained that it is not an exact 90° sometimes. did you check yours? After the review thanks,
