Dope! I'm so glad these 2.1 cards are starting to pop up. I'm mostly on PS5, though have been more recently dabbling with a dual PC setup as well to get the most out of my 3070ti on my main rig. Being able to pass through HDR at 4K 144 with VRR is huge, but capturing 4K 60 on top of that is nuts! Looking forward to further coverage! 🍻

I used to use the previous model in a 2 PC setup but after getting a 4090 that can record 4K120 and finally moving to a 1 PC setup (routing audio sucks), I don't see me getting this. I feel like they waited too long to release this since the 4000 series cards have such great encoders already assuming you're not a console gamer.

I mean about time? Series X and Ps5 have been out for 3 years.

Depends if the VRR passthrough is a higher limit than Elgato's HD60 X which is 120hz, meaning all monitors above that aren't supported.

Will this also support 1440p240 passthru?😳

This is really cool, but I'm pretty sure the first would be the Live Gamer Bolt (though it is thunderbolt). Either way, 4K144 passthrough and 4K60 capture is very nice!

This looks like a rebody of the AverMedia card that also just launched at Computex. Considering the extremely similar specs and layout, I would bet this isn’t made by ASUS, but in fact that same card.

Q: UVC or does it need software like the Avermedia stuff? (Linux user)
