The Magewell page says that this "accepts input at 4kp60." IF you are correct that it cannot capture 4kp60, but simply passes it through and captures at 30p, then that is highly deceptive.

Thank you! I've been looking for a 4K capture card for under $500. Honestly, as far as I'm concerned, and  I'm not a tech guy, the 60 FPS isn't really that big of a deal for console gaming since most games are still in 30 FPS, only a few games are actually made to be played in 60 FPS (GoW, Forza, etc).

Hey TetraNinja. Within the upcoming months I will be buying a capture card and I want to make the best decision. I was reading a review on amazon stating that he had problems keeping the 30 FPS at 4K resolution. He said, it will hold a native 1080p resolution at 30 FPS no problem. Could you comment on rather or not the device had problems hold a locked 30 FPS? Because if this is the case I would rather just put out the extra cash for a better device. Thank you if you respond!
