The team sheet screamed "friendly" now we know who can hack it and who cant.Hopefully quality replacements will be in the door in the summer.

Thanks guys, not the best day at the office but we did all our business when it really mattered. Congrats to the second team in Glasgow winning the F*CK ALL CUP. Hail Hail ☘☘☘

Look at it 2mo with a bit of perspective...
11 out of last 12 titles.
5 trebles over 7 years & last year we done double too.
We lost a game that mattered more to our rivals on the day at home with 100% own fans urging on. Trust Ange as we will strengthen soon & we have not been great lately but this group has put so much into this season. HH ☘

There have been several games when we didn't perform this season and got out of jail. Today, we were poor and got punished. Still room for improvement and we need quality replacements for the fringe players. On to the treble 🍀🍀🍀

Bernabia is never ever going to be our left back

Celtic fans given a sobering experience and to be honest Celtic have not been fully at it in recent games. I hope everyone learns from it. If anything is going to happen in Europe next season Celtic need to lift their game to higher levels. Still short of a few quality players to compete, need more depth in the squad.

If the point of the exercise was to determine who isn’t good enough for next season the point was proven. Need another centre half and a left back.

Thanks guys. Disappointing performance but i am actually pleased in a way because our team is not good enough for Europe and even domestically we are too reliant on certain players so when injuries happen we are weakened. We haven't been playing at our usual level for at least 2 months! I knew we were screwed as soon as i saw the team selection 😳 Extremely weird starting Bernabei and Oh . A whole different game with Kyogo & Taylor . An early Kyogo goal would have had us flying . Dodgy decisions all round today. Poor poor performance and result but important lessons have been learnt. HH to all at CFTV 🍀💚☘

Starfelt done well today considering he was dropped in it today, without CCV, Johnston, and Taylor.

So glad that happened today and Ange can now see which players have serious work to do if they have potential and which players won't make the cut next season. That was a handy early preview of next season and it's good that Ange and the training staff now have the time to sort out the team ready for next season.
Today's game was a really useful game because we were playing fierce rivals but it was a meaningless fixture so there was nothing to be lost.
Now Ange has to discuss with his staff as to what he wants to do with his players and team and the direction it needs to improve for next year and the Champion's League challenge.
We started the season sooo strong with a team that could frighten the life out of teams like Real Madrid for 45 mins but over the season, there was a slowing of play and the intensity faded. Celtic need to have players that can make 3 A teams not an A, B and C team!

I always think that every now and then its good to drop a bollock into your soup. It allows you to learn more, stay humble and it exposes your weak spots. Winning all the time as Celtic do often hides our weaknesses. This wil prove to be a useful defeat.

Today was an important result in that we can conclude that our squad depth isn't as good as we all thought.I do feel Ange should have started Maeda and Iwata as his 11 was very open and attacking. We have now seen enough of Berna and Oh to conclude that they are not effective back up players to their first team players. Ange will realize that we need to buy a better striker to challenge Kyogo and a mature left back to push Taylor. I think Kobayashi is excellent on the ball and looks a bit more like a midfielder but he is slow to react and make a challenge but i feel he can add that. We do need 1 centre back left back and striker as main priorities. Ange knows it

It’s definitely a learning curve for Ange.we still need to strengthen deeply for Europe.missing 6 key players today and it showed
In Ange we trust and it wouldn’t surprise me if this was a deliberate ploy to see who can hack it.he’s a clever man and he knows the squad needs to be strengthened anyway and now he knows who he can offload HH🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🍀🍀🍀

I agree with Callum, Bernabei won't make it at Celtic, I think he's ok going forward but his main job is to defend and I think he's a bombscare in that department. Don't get me wrong he wasn't alone today that was by far our worst team performance of the season not one player gets pass marks. I was keen to see how this experiment worked out because those guys were given a big chance today to stake a claim for a regular first team berth and they blew it, now in the grand scheme of things over the season it's a blip but Ange will have seen that some of these guys are below the levels we expect at Celtic and there's work to be done in upgrading some positions. I also think though that Ibrox can do that to you at times if you're not on your game and without any of our supporters there it's a difficult place to play, of course I'm disappointed at losing in the manner we did but if we beat Inverness in the cup final that this result will mean nothing but we can't forget how poor we were on the day. It's a day for them to gloat but it's just that one day in a season of utter dominance for us and I'd have liked us to break the points total as our football this season has deserved to but it gives us something to aim for again next season HH

Tomorrow when we all wake up, we are still Champions, league cup winners and on our way to a treble….I am old enough to remember The Hampden season, beating Rangers 3-0 after they had won the league PS we were 4th 94/95! So enjoy our current successes! Hail Hail💚⚽️

To be honest...if Kyogo had started in that cauldron and refereeing context (Cantwell committed 9 fouls with no yellow and Calmac was carded on his second foul) and had been injured and missed the Cup final (or more), people would be tearing strips off Ange. Celtic had twenty minutes in the first half where they looked crisp and dominated but its a context where Rangers were always going to have a lot of freedom and I think in the bigger picture there is a positive here of another example of Ange having more than Plan A...he didn't throw it all away trying to win.

That game was really alarming for players in our squad not good enough.. don’t care the league is done we shouldn’t be getting defeated off a team in a rebuild 3-0 embarrassing

Prediction was correct. My gut was right. Said days ago we'd lose I knew we'd play a lesser team.
But we are CHAMPIONS for a reason. We win when we need to 💪🇮🇪🏆

Imagine how many rangers could have scored with strikers.
