The Celtic team that started consisted primarily of the same as last year, other than Kasper on a free and Bernardo who we made permanent. This talk of the money difference was irrelevant in this match. Not one Rangers player would make the Celtic bench.

The Rangers tactics worked for the first 10 mins but swiftly outplayed after the Celtic players identified and it was clear they had no other plan. Celtic broke the press so easily, Rangers were lucky not to get a sore one.

Get Sourness off the copium, just admit the gap and your own fans might get some respect back for you, along with the deluded Clemont.

Souness is the most blinkered man in the world of blinkered men football pundits. Everything he says is immersed in his own preference for how he wants the world to be.

He has plugged £50 million as the solution on a purely arbitrary basis and something that doesn't look likely to happen anyway. He might as well suggest Mbappe was going to join them on a free transfer!

Another thing I notice about souness is how he seems to have problem with names of players of teams he doesn't like. "What's this chaps name", "the riley fella", "the so called Celtic captain", he does this with United players too. We know you know their names bud!
