"Why does it matter who gets credit?" This one line in my opinion sums up the kind of person Freddie Highmore's character Dr. Shaun Murphy is. Those who don't want credit are the ones who deserve it the most.

You can really see how uncomfortable Shaun is yet he accepts the hugs and doesn’t pull away.

When I started watching this show, I was crying because it hit me hard. My younger brother is diagnosed with autism, so you can see why it hit me hard. I admit that some of the characters on the show I want to slap so hard because of how they were treating him. I think that its a good concept for people to understand that just because you have a symptom, a disorder, etc. it doesn't mean that they are limited to do certain things in life. This is a very good show and I will continue to watch it. Probably with a box of tissues though.

I'm recording every episode on Monday evenings so that I don't have to sit through the commercials. I love the show so much. I'm autistic myself and it's so good to finally see a good show in which we are portrayed in a positive view.

The Good Doctor is actually an American remake of a fantastic South Korean drama... amazing to see it being adapted to an american show airing on prime time!

What a show!! I saw the previews and thought I'd give it a shot. Each episode flies by and wish next episode wasn't a week away. The premise for the show is fascinating, cast is great and Freddie Highmore is BRILLIANT as Dr. Shain Murphy.

I have an cousin with autism and he acts almost exactly like that (He is a little more cheerful and is more open to hugs) the actor really did an awesome work in here.
