Remember your number in wealth or awards won’t go to your grave, it’s all about how good you were to the people. Be remembered for good.

He was the prime example of toxic corporate culture.

He was essentially the Alexander of the tech world, yeah he embodied ideals of greatness and truly pushed Apple to make greatness but at the cost of many people’s lives… well sanity in this case.

Did he even program or design a single thing on the ipod touch? It sounds like all of the "beauty" was done by someone else and Steve was there cracking a whip and then taking the credit when everyone loved it.

Alex Gibney is always great about documentaries not afraid of telling the truth no matter how ugly. His Scientology documentary was my favorite.

I guess you don't build a company with the highest market capitalization in the world by being "a nice guy" 🤷🏻‍♂️

if Steve Jobs was nice and always said "no dont worry, this is also fine", then advancement in technology wouldnt be so far as now.

A lot of his frustration came from him seeing the world in a specific way while everyone else was in a box. You have to keep in mind that he essentially created the modern PC interface. Desktops, windows, custom fonts, app store. If there's something you're used to, there's a chance he had to fight for it.

Are people really surprised that a startup ceo that grew a company that large had a ruthless side? Softies. You don’t get someone to put their heart into a project by telling them please, please. You influence and persuade them to see your vision & want it as much as you do. These people who criticize these methods will never be able to achieve something to this scale without influence.

I just listen to the audio book, and I had to work for and with evil demons blowing up, and the best you can do is ignore them, do not argue, but if they attack you, then they have made a deadly mistake.

What do you expect, he is an imperfect human. Before you wipe this speck out of someone's eye, take the plank out of your own

when u working on your own project u will know what its like to be the owner. we always want thing to be great. we working without days off and spend almost a day for looking on our project. we hired people do the work we used to do. we know that they are better than us but the way they work isn't hard enough, they don't put the heart in the work like we did. i understand its the common thing in most of the companies. they always come and finish the work and go home. let think about it if u are the owner ? i know that they also have their own problems to do and to think about but why cant they just be a better and for 8 or 10 hours ?
i have learned a lot from Steve . i know that its a little though for me and everyone if we were working with him but this is what happens when u love what u do.
