As a female, I was the third fastest long distance runner in my town when I was a teen. We did cross country runs as mixed sexes. They had three different awards, men's top 3, women's top 3, then top 3 overall. I was 1st for the women and 3rd overall, I would've also been 3rd in the men's. This was done with about about 100 people, 50 men, 50 women. So I, as a woman, was faster than 48 men. The idea that men are always better at sport than women is just sexist. Most transphobia is just sexism repackaged with a little bow on it.

Also, my kids nursery was talking about families and they were told "some kids have 1 mummy and 1 daddy, some have 1 mummy and no daddy, some have 1 daddy and no mummy, some have 2 mummies, some have 2 daddies, some have 2 mummies and 2 daddies, some have 1 mummy and 2 daddies, some have 2 mummies and 1 daddy." I don't get what the issue with that is. Families come in all shapes and sizes, I don't see the harm in being open with children about different family dynamics. None are better than the others, they're all just families. My kid is 3 and knows about gay people, haven't really spoken about transpeople yet, but that's mostly because I don't think my kid would understand, my oldest knows. My kid asked about two men holding hands in public and I just said "they love each other, just like mummy and daddy do" my kid didn't care, my kid just carried on as normal after. Kids don't care, they also won't be "turned" just because they know something exists

The bathrooms argument always makes me SO MAD. You aren't scared of trans women being allowed in women's bathrooms, you're scared of PREDATORY MEN. THEY AREN'T THE SAME! And even if an offender was a trans woman, or a man "claiming to be trans to get away with it", ARREST THEM?? The same as you would if a cis woman was the offender. A single bad person does not represent the entirety of a community. Also, unisex bathrooms have existed before the invention of modern plumbing. So, like, WHO CARES???

As a genderfluid/transmasc (still figuring it out lol) and a victim of grooming; it's not alike at all. Being groomed was one of the most traumatic things I've experienced and it just REALLY disgusts me that I'll probably be called a groomer when I'm a full adult because of my gender identity. Finding out about the LGBTQ+ community helped me a lot with figuring myself out while grooming basically destroyed a part of me. I really hope that this guy gets educated and realizes that he's just spitting bull. Also, have a good day everyone! (sorry for any spelling mistakes; English is not my first language.)
