This video is missing the part where you need to peel the brown protective film off the heat pad before contacting the surface of the M.2 drive. At 4:20 in this video the brown film is still on the grey silicone heat pad. If not removed before powering up the enclosure the board chipset will overheat and be damaged.

Can be used on computer with USB-A port with USB-C to USB-A cable without any problems?

i just got one of these and i cant get either of my ssd's to fit in it. yours has just the rubber plug to hold yours in but my one has a fixed plastic twist lock down. but it doesnt give me enough room to put the ssd down all the way. not happy with this product at all. and it cost me £35. so a lot more than you paid.

The new revision has a clasp to secure the m.2 in place, like what you see in some mobos.

Just received mine today and the cable bag was torn open. So I looked at the cable and it reads 'USB 3.1'. Not Impressed!

I'm having trouble installing I followed directions then realized I had the 2280 so the numb does not go on the bottom but on the end like you showed but then I realized was in the middle ridge and not the top ridge. Insure how that fits in. Seems easy but afraid to apply pressure to break it finally did to get the angle right but not the nub

you said it tops out about 1000mb/sec, so if my nvme hdd reads at 3400mb/sec will this enclosure device limit the speed down to 1000mb/sec?
