This video is tailored towards folks like me who already have a good knowledge of Photoshop. I appreciated you leaving out all the steps that are basic moves in PS. Thanks.

I am actually quite relieved that you go so fast. I end up pausing the video a lot to go back to Photoshop to complete the instructions but it's so great to not have to endlessly wait and trudge through a impossibly slow and unorganized how-to. I don't have the time or patience for that! Your tutorials are concise, articulate, well organized and professional. Thank you!

This might have been fast as I have a disability that impairs my executive functioning and processing, but I just watched it about a sentence at a time and took notes. Very thorough and such a neat effect! Thank you for this! And thank you for the captions, super helpful for those of us who can't remember what we just heard but can still read it on the screen! 😂

Interesting take on separating the subject from the background by using the Channels and increasing contrast to make a really detailed selection. Works having a very basic background. Thanks!

Great tutorial – taught me exactly what I needed to know. The pace is fast, as other commenters are mentioning, but nothing a bit of pause/play can't fix.

Thank you for being one of the few YouTube tutorial producers to make a concise and comprehensive video. Most videos like this are 10 min or more...

I gotta admit, I had to rewind this about a million times to get through to the end since you were talking so damn fast. But I still got it done. Since there is no way to memorize all these steps, I'd probably have to watch this video again if I were to ever do another example. To which I'm not sure if making another one is worth watching this again.

just wanted to say thank you. yes, it was fast, and yes I am a complete beginner and had to do research on other devices for min. 12 hours. but my finished image is so freaking amazing and I'm so so so proud to have made such a complicated image blend! thanks again. the other thing that stumped me as well was the shortcut controls you used but I looked and looked. and paused every sec to figure it out, and other people's comments helped as well!

Love this! - SO quick, precise, artistic, innovative.... no mucking around. One of the best Photoshop teachers I've seen on YouTube.... and I've watched 100s of videos through the years.

Thanks! Had to rewind and pause a few times, you go through it pretty fast but amazing results! Thanks so much for taking the time to teach us newbies!

A lot of people are saying that this is impossible to follow..
If you have basic knowledge of Photoshop this is really easy to follow guys..
You can't just come here without knowing even basic things about it and then expect to understand everything without a problem.. He even uploaded the CC so you can follow it more easily...
Chris did talk a bit faster, but that shouldn't be that much of a problem..
Just focus! :D

Great tutorial by the way! The thing i always missed was copying the model, putting it over the clip mask and then changing the mode to multiply.. It looks a lot better now! Thanks a lot! :3

This is the fastest, to-the-point video I have seen to date. Love it. I actually watched the entire thing instead of just skimming through and fast forwarding the whole thing. Thank you.

Why (do you?) recommend isolating the subject through adjusting channels versus removing white background through a simple selection process?
