I remember myself being so sad that it was so hard for me to play this piece until a few years latter I learned, and I can play the whole song. So everyone never give up on your dreams.

I find myself singing happily.

This specific 24 hour period is particularly fitting for my biological processes not to be terminated.

In every Scott Joplin Rag or Waltz, if you listen close enough, you can sing the name of the song with some of the notes. I've found that it is easiest with Magnetic Rag, Swipsey Cakewalk, The Entertainer, Maple Leaf Rag, Fig Leaf Rag, Original Rags, etc.

Right time, right rythm. What else do you wont?

the credit should go to Arthur Marshall, Joplin's student at the time and who composed the A B and D sections. Joplin added the C section, and took Marshall with him to meet John Stark to have the work published.

I would like to mention that most of this piece was actually composed by the young Arthur Marshall, a student of Joplin’s. Scott Joplin himself only composed the trio to this piece.

Fantastic! I just picked up the sheet music last month. The transition at :39--what finger pattern do you use? I always stumble at this part.

Thank you for playing this at the proper tempo. That is hard to find, especially with Joplin's early pieces.

I believe Scott wrote this with Joseph Lamb

Why is Arthur Marshall's name excluded from this? He co-wrote this with Joplin.
