Swipesy Cakewalk - Ragtime Ukulele

preview_player
Показать описание
Ukulele arrangement of a ragtime composition by Scott Joplin and Arthur Marshall from 1900. I play the lead unisono on two different ukes: Gibson UB1 and Martin style 3. Backing instruments are a National style 1 tenor guitar and Lyon & Healy tenor ukulele, both tuned DGBE. Enjoy your summer!

Never cared about banjoleles until
right this moment. That’s a cool one!

For me, Joplin's jaunty melodies always have a slight undertow of wistful melancholy . That's what makes it so great and this arrangement was splendid..

Very nice! My only criticism is you played it too fast. A cakewalk was a slow strut basically.
