jae having been immature does not eliminate all that he went through when he was under jyp entertainment, what they did to him was clearly wrong and no artist should ever be treated like that by their own label

Jae seriously promoted the group more than any other member. He made a youtube channel, twitch streamed, he joined dive studios and did a lot of work, he joined other streamers in their streams to get people outside of kpop community to know day6. He did all this by himself with no help of the company. He even approaches other artists for collabs for his solo projects. And yet i don't ever see the company support him. While YoungK is getting all his solo projects supported by the company. I mean wth.

The way that Jae has been treated has made me realise just how hypocritical people are.
People: “He/ she took his life …. Why didn’t he/ she speak up in public so that we could support them?”
Jae speaks up and is open about everything.

People: “it’s too much, he needs to learn shut up. He complains too much etc etc.”

I stopped stanning anything kpop after the Killian story broke out. Nothing about Kpop surprises me anymore. Nothing.
And no company is better than the other, I’ve realised.

Honestly JYP has a horrible way at managing their male artists/groups lately. Aside from the lack of support and lack of promoting, it seems like they also have lack of freedom. Wasn't he also told to stop streaming as well not long after he first started?? Everyone else has/had their own thing outside the band. Radio shows, guest appearances, solo work etc...Meanwhile he did everything on his own or was told he wasn't allowed...
He does seem a lot happier after all this bs, he's been streaming and hanging out with his streamer friends. I wish him the best for his future solo work as well and hope it's either in his own company or a company that actually cares...or even as an independent artist!!

The breakup between Jae and JYPE was to be expected if you've been keeping up with his streaming career, his friendship with other streamers (especially OTV), and his performance with 88 rising. If Jae stayed with JYPE, neither of them would be happy. Jae wouldn't get the freedom to do what he wants and JYPE would have an unhappy worker trying to fake something he doesn't want to do. Jae did say to believe in him and Day6 though. Once all the members from Day6 finish their military duties, I truly believe they'll come back together to perform again regardless if the rest of the members are still with JYPE or sign elsewhere

Edit: I feel like people are thinking that I am criticising JYP but what I meant was the company JYP Entertainment. He too might have some problems with the management but the company derives its name from JYP, so I hope you guys can understand and have a more authentic opinion.

Jae obviously effed up, which he admited to and apologised to the one person who it relates to, but that does not mean his treatment within JYPE is just and/ or deserved. Whether you still support him and have given him a chance or given up, you CAN NOT deny that Jae has been honest about idol treament, and if you've ignored the things he has said just because you don't like him, then I don't think you respect your favs, who do go through that treatment.

i just recently listened to day6.. been hearing a lot of good things about this group and now they perform with 4 members
I cannot stop myself from watching back to back before jae left the group.. his absence is so noticable 😢 and reading all his tweets how he felt unsupported.. damn why jyp did him dirty

It’s sad the company didn’t allow Jae his proper solo promotions, but it was for the best. I feel that it was mainly through Jae that a lot of people, including myself, know of Day6 because of Jae. I even joked about the band being Jae6 at one point 😂. Best wishes to both the group and to Jae’s solo activities!!

MAN I REALLY JUST WANT DAY6 TO BE BACK. I'VE BEEN A FAN SINCE THEIR DEBUT AND JAE JUST COMPLETES THE GROUP AND THEIR UNIQUE VOCALS. Fair right to him to leave JYPE, it's never easy of course since he grew up there, but I am sure this is the best for him. He is very creative and this just allows him to do whatever he wants without a board looking over it. His Twitch streams with GTA V roleplay are awesome anyways! Definitely worth watching that.

I think he made the right choice if company did not treat you better than whats the reason to stay in that company if they have to treat him liks this why they accept him in first place i think this is the only reason he leave jyp its unfair to him but i hope he dont stop working and continue what he want to do

I'm sure many idols went through and are probably going through everything Jae has mentioned. I really admire him for taking his stand, and sharing his first-hand experiences because that's the only way for fans and STANS to get a grip of reality. As sad and harsh that might sound, it is the sad truth. Idols are people too. COMPANIES and FANS should treat them with basic human decency.

I love Day 6 with Jae. They created a lot nice music together. I respect each members decision to grow as a solo artist. I will always go back and listen to their music and concert or future performances. All the best for their future projects.

honestly. i was heartbroken when Jae left but i honestly completely understand him. he honestly went through a lot. he practically promoted that group by himself. i found day6 THROUGHT Jae. He worked very hard and it's heartbreaking that Day6 lost another member i don't think Day6 will ever be the same after this. i feel like they just need to make Even of Day a completely separate group and let Day6 be what it once was. i am not happy with a lot of Jae's actions especially as he fell deeper into what i call Eaj rather than Jae. Jae was who we remember him as in Day6 and Eaj was the "real Jae". i can understand why JYP would've wanted to cut ties with him since it seemed like he was constantly getting himself in trouble but around the time he stopped letting "Eaj" consume him and just let himself be Jae, was when he terminated his contract. he loves Day6. he promoted that group better than JYP themselves. i only found out about comebacks by having his post notifications on on Twitter. he was honestly what made Day6 Day6 and i don't think we'll be getting Day6 back ever again even if they release music after they're done their military service. it's heartbreaking cuz i've been a fan since 2018 and i've always wanted to see the 5 of them in concert. i just hope all the members are doing well and i'm proud of Jae and Day6.
