Use Quick Resume Feature on Steam Deck ? You Must See This !

In this video, I tested Steam Deck quick resume feature vs battery drain.

3 Real life scenarios have been tested. Also I include AYA Neo Air battery drain during the sleep mode in the last scenario test.

This isn't really "quick resume" it's more game suspension. PCs (yes the steam deck is a PC) have 2 sleep modes: sleep where power is still being sent to system memory (great at waking up quickly but is taxing on the battery) and then there's deep sleep/hibernation which takes system memory and moves it a partitioned section of the hard drive so that system memory can be powered down (this saves battery but takes longer to wake up and especially with game cause issue with currently running programs and the program may need to be restarted). Quick resume is a Microsoft marketing term for suspending back ground tasks and moving from game to game without fully quitting them. I would love for Valve to add this to steam OS as it would be great when juggling multiple apps or games in a play session and not have to wait for initial load times.

I've been doing this from the start I use my 64 deck. But sometimes when turning it on the next day, it just fails to resume then restart on its own. This happens maybe like 1-2x a week

Does anyone have audio crackling when waking up from sleep?

Unfortunately the aya neo air being a windows handheld makes sleep mode a bit finicky (especially compared to the steam deck). It can work perfectly fine for some games but I've had quite a few instances of it causing a game to crash, making it so the audio can still be heard but all you get is a black screen or a stretched out static image etc.
Though I can't say it's always been perfect on the steam deck either but as someone that's had a deck since March, I'm certain it's improved.
