Xbox Series X Quick Resume on a External Normal HDD! still only takes about 5 seconds!Microsoft!

I Just got my Xbox Series X 6 days early somehow and I dont have any next gen games because I got the console early, so I plugged in my external basic Hard drive that I had plugged into my Xbox 1 X and it still was doing Quick Resume! I Could switch between playing games on my normal external hard drive in about 5 seconds! So awsome and the Graphics are amazing! The Xbox boots up in about 2 seconds! This Xbox Series X is out of this world! Game play is so smooth and I love the new controller

Thank god I will have quick resume still with a External hard drive

QUICK RESUMES ARE SAVED ON THE INTERNAL SSD NO MATTER WHAT. I think space is even saved for them so you cant fill your internal ssd up enough for the feature not to work.

Quick resume is not running on your hard drive when you suspend the game its gets moved to the SSD while the game is inactive.

Yeah I was surprised by this working off of an external. It must use the ram for this feature

Ok this is fuckin dope. I got the series s and was planning on getting an external 2 tb hdd. So there really is no need for that Seagate 1 tb for $200

Question if you have max for games on quick resume can you swap them out for another game you enjoy or no? Or are you stuck with the max games you chose?

Quick question, If I have my Xbox one game on a HDD and play it on the series x from the HDD do I still have visual upgrades of the game ?

This was the thing I wanted most
I Dotn get it
My console (2nd one) takes about 10-12 seconds on some games then that same game will be 6-10
But it seems slow even downloading games
Plus u have to reinstall upgrades
The system shut off on gears 5
Controller won’t turn on console
Restarting system from inside settings takes forever to power down.

And no I’m no fan boy
Ive been on Xbox 13 years and got both consoles

It’s like my ps5 is faster and cool
Xbox gets hot on top and slow for me
Also doesn’t detect Ethernet cable or internet for like 5 minutes

OMG, why Microsoft didn't say anything about this feature with (normal HDD) ??!!!! I didn't know this before seeing your video 😢, Sony lied about (features not present) (yet) and Microsoft didn't even say (we have this)?
