My dad had a heart attack.

Your voice echoed in my mind.
Chest compressions, chest compressions, chest compressions.

I revived my dad with CPR!

He is in the hospital and he is okay now.

Thank you Doctor Mike you saved my dad!

Edit: Thank you all for your support and kindness. I never had that many likes in a comment before.

Edit: 10K LIKES WHOA! YOU GUYS ARE SO AMAZING!

3:13 Hungarian here! So yes the guy from the meme is actually hungarian and his name is Arató András, he accidentally became that meme and now almost the whole world knows him. They filmed that video to promote and raise awareness of doing chest compressions and this video was actually played at my school when we were getting educated about this stuff, very cool

03:40 ... yes. He is the old man meme. He is Hungarian and his real name is András István Arató, NOT "Hide the Pain Harold".
He actually saw his meme and asked what it was. He never knew what memes were, but realized people would wave to him and say hi, point and get excited when they saw him.
When András investigated what memes were and how they are used for humor and other topics, instead of getting mad that someone used his photo to make that original meme, he embraced the meme and started becoming his own memelord!
Yes, this is a real meme of him teaching people how to give chest compressions. How cool is this guy?

Im 23 and im terminally ill with lung disease (bronchiolitis obliterans) with a lung function of just 28% but that CF lady gives me hope. When I got initially sick in 2008 when I was 7 they told my parents to be prepared to not take me home, I survived that. Then they said I wouldn't live much longer than 2019, and im still alive. Miracles are real

As a person with Cystic Fibrosis it is so nice to hear someone else explain what the disease is, as that doesn’t happen often. Thank you Doctor Mike for helping me feel seen!

5:24 "She studied that right before, that's not fair!" Dr. Mike getting one-upped is a rare event 😂

I'm a retired RT. When I started in the field, a CF patient’s life expectancy was 10. When I retired 37 years later it was over 30! What a wonderful achievement!

My band teacher has cystic fibrosis; and I remember before he had started the new medications he had coughing fits in the middle of class, and was just overall a bit miserable compared to most people. After he started taking that medication I saw a huge difference and he looked happier, stopped having coughing fits, and was just overall relieved. By coincidence, he actually ended up marrying one of the people who helped create that medication that lengthened his life. Truly amazing.

The next step for these "health experts" is to mix alkaline and acidic water to create a new superwater while they completely miss the irony lmao

Suprised the good doctor didn't point out how dangerous the bottle push-ups was. A lot of force being applied both down and sideways to the neck of the bottle, especially with coins that could easily slip and strike the glass. Then broken bottle meeting hand, face, neck, shoulder would cause a lot of damage.

Yeaah, Hide the Pain Herold! He's actually Hungarian. When he started to speak I actually was like: 'Am I hallucinating or something?' It's my mother language and I was suprised to hear it in one of your videos.
Great content, thank you for the fun!❤

When I was 15 I was in children's hospital for 8 weeks. The ward had several CF patients. it's great to hear that there's been so many advancements.

That marathon record attempt by the cystic fibrosis woman…Now that’s the real TikTok trend we should be celebrating.

I grew up knowing two brothers who had Cystic Fibrosis. Their whole lives were one long "we think you could live longer than expected". As you say, the new medicine has drastically improved their lives, one of them was shocked at just how much easier it was to breathe afterwards.

So about the superglue, I don't know specifically about tears specifically but when still-wet superglue meets water it kinda turns gloopy, the superglue will attempt to essentially bond with the water. I've collected Warhammer for years and have had many a superglue spill. It's very very hard to clean it up with water. She's very lucky (or she thought very fast) she didn't close her eye before washing it out. Superglue will bond human skin far faster than it bonds other surfaces; like it will bond human skin instantly. Modern superglue has its origins in medical glue used for field-expedient sealing of wounds for soldiers.
