Homemade Soymilk (Soya Milk Recipe) #linsfood #recipe

Показать описание
Want to know how to make soya milk at home? This is how!
It tastes just like the stuff I used to drink, growing up in Singapore.
How to Use Soy Milk?
Soymilk (or soya milk) has many health benefits, and is a great dairy substitute for dairy milk.
Use it as a replacement to your regular milk, whatever that may be. So you could drink it, have cereal with it, make milkshakes and smoothies with it and also use it in hot drinks.
I use soya milk in my daily smoothies and all my kids have it with their cereal.
RECIPE
•200g (1 cup) soya beans (soybeans)
•1.5 litres (6 cups) water for soaking
•1.5 - 2 litres (6 - 8 cups) water for blending
•sugar or honey to taste
1. Soak the beans overnight in a large bowl.
2. Next day, drain and rinse them. Then place in a blender and blend until smooth.
3. Strain through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth into a saucepan.
4. Bring it to a simmer on medium-low heat, not high heat. When it's simmering, reduce the heat to low and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. If you want to sweeten it, add it 5 minutes before the end to allow it to dissolve completely and for the flavours to mix.
5. Transfer into sterilised bottles and keep in the fridge. Consume within 5 days.
