I’d like to say that running 13 miles per hour is pretty hard, but for a marathon? Holy crap

I’d like to mention that when people do this test on a treadmill it’s inaccurate since at these speed your more making tiny jumps and not actually propelling your 150lb body forward. This is why people running at 31 mph on a treadmill is not accurate

If you set up automated timer cones it's pretty easy to hit a high top speed over a short distance. My highschool had this 20 mph sign where anyone who hit that speed over a certain distance (I think 10 meters with a decent run up) would get their name on the sign. Lots of kids were able to do it on the track team.
