My dog is afraid of everything in our home until I pick it up and kiss it. Then she knows it’s not a threat. I can’t tell you how many hair brushes, new trash bags, shampoo bottles and stacks of bath towels I’ve kissed 😂

My brother's dog was afraid of the wood floor. Would refuse to walk on it. We would put a blanket down, the dog would crawl onto it from the carpet, and lay down on the blanket and we would have to drag it until he thought he could skip to the door mat 😂
I'm sitting here thinking "and people think these pups are scary" mf was scared of the wood floor. Pitbulls have some of the biggest hearts out there too ❤

My old pittie american bulldog mix looked like the scariest lady ever;

She fostered litters of kittens that people left at my doorstep and was absolutely obsessed with stuffed animals. She'd snuggle with them and carry them everywhere. She once protected me and my brothers from another aggressive dog at the park, sweetest girl ever. She lived to 16, I miss her. RIP Addy.

If I'm laying on the couch, my pittie will come up and smoosh his entire neck into my face. He doesn't give kisses, but you will cuddle and hug whether you like it or not.

I have to warn people "don't lay on the couch unless you want cuddles"

It's the snuggles that people really, really underestimate. Sometimes, it's like my pittie is trying to get as close to my face as physically possible - no matter how uncomfortable both of us are 😂

I got a pitt when he was about 6 months old. He was skinny and had been abused . Well he was my best friend for 13 years and was just a big spoiled baby . He got cancer and passed away away last year and i still miss him so much i still get teary-eyed talking about him .RIP Bo mama loves you always😢

These two are a spitting image of my Sam and his big brother Jax.
Jax was a surprise litter so we had him from birth. We rescued Samson at one years old.
Jax expects everything to be handed to him while Sam just stares you in the eyes with eternal love ❤ hehe

Something I've learned over the years of having pitbulls are a lot of them have separation anxiety and don't like to be left alone

I had a beautiful girl that looked just like them. We had to say goodbye to about a year ago, cancer 😢😢😢😢. I miss her everyday. One of the best dogs I have ever owned. R.I. P Penny love you.
