"Look at the mirror." President Sauli Väinämö Niinistö is one of the most direct politicians. He answers questions directly and does not avoid unpleasant situations. More politicians need to be like him.

He sounds like a great leader. Calm but forceful at the same time. Not mincing his words. I like him. 👍🇬🇧

As an American I don’t think I’ve seen such a smart and well spoken leader. The world needs more of it. Truly.

Typical Finn! If a Finn has nothing significant to contribute to a conversation, he/she simply remains quiet. When a Finn has something to contribute, he/she will speak up, clearly and concisely - no subterfuge or circumvention, just straight to the point.
I am only Icelandic, but I have worked with a number of Finnish aviation professionals over the years and I learned early on that when the quiet Finn finally says something, it is ALWAYS worth listening to.

Finnland is one of the most sympathic countries in europe. Everytime I see a finn speak in television I like them. Especially the racing drivers :D Kimi is the best.

It felt like a honor to listen to him speak.

He chose his words so eloquently: instead of saying that not having freedom of choice is "unacceptable", he said "thats a huge change". He 100% meant the former, and his actions completely mirror that, but he still says the latter, which is non-threatening, stating an observation that is clear for everyone to see, and can almost not be argued. Incredible to see how he did that.

This is one of many reasons I always wonder why don't we have more politicians like him. Cheers to Finnland from your uralic brother, Hungary 🇫🇮🇭🇺

This man. This absolutle legend. He searches for no fame, no clout, no virality. What he searches is for things to actually happen and progress to be made.
