I went there as a kid in elementary school for math. Basically, all it was is you do worksheets. Then those worksheets get corrected and you fix the mistakes. Basically, it's learning by repetition. Then you move on to harder stuff. I barely remember it at this point.

As someone who suffered through Kumon, i can say nobody had fun. I have no memories of anybody showing emotion. We were mindlessly working on worksheets (nobody taught us anything, we worked on worksheets with little to no context, at least for my kumon) while we cried.
