Linkin Park is back. The iconic rock band of the 90s announced their comeback on Thursday during a live-stream event. The group revealed plans for a world tour and a studio album this autumn. The reunion came seven years after frontman Chester Bennington died by suicide in 2017 and the band hit a pause. Emily Armstrong, previously a member of the rock band Dead Sara, will be joining as a co-lead vocalist with Mike Shinoda. Guitarist Brad Delson, DJ Joe Hahn and bassist Phoenix, who have been part of Linkin Park since 1996, will return. They have also added songwriter and producer Colin Brittain as their new drummer, who will be replacing Rob Bourdon.

With New Vocalist, New Drummer (Rob left the band), Brad Delson not performing live anymore (tho he'll be the lead guitarist during production), live performances won't feel the same anymore 💔 Chester and his Angelic voice will always be missed ♥️
But glad that LP is back🤘🏼and grateful that we'll get more new songs and albums from them because the quality that they have and always had is something that's hard to find in new artists these days.

You didn't read the full post from Brad in 0:57 . I feel that Brad is never coming back 😢. Firstly we lost Chester. Then Rob left. And now if Brad leaves then it will not be worthwhile to listen to the band.

As much as I appreciate carrying on legacies in bands, I feel they should have rebranded the band. When Kurt Cobain passed. Nirvana was no more but they rebranded as Foo Fighters and have it was widely appreciated and accepted. Don't get me wrong Emily is a great artist but she has a different energy and well Rob's heart is no longer in it unfortunately, so why not just rebrand?

the drums felt off, the songs have no emotion from any of the band members, the vocals were weak for most of the songs of linking park...bad died with chester, who brang emotion and chills
