Friend is convicted of things you don't suspect friend of doing. You defend friend. Turns out friend really did do those things and you're appalled, having not talked to them since.

Pretty normal behavior. The internet is full of fucking idiots who would be far from perfect under similar scrutiny. If someone accused any of my friends of anything I wouldn't believe them without evidence. If, and when, ample evidence is provided I would change my tune. That is what normal fucking people do.

I don't care about the singer's personal lives unless they're doing something positive or showing us a side of them we haven't seen. The bigger crime is Emily Armstrong trying to sing Linkin Park songs. She's pitchy, off key, and doesn't have a voice strong enough to be heard over the music. I went in with an open mind thinking it might be cool to have a female lead singer but this girl ain't it. There are tons of powerful female singers all over the world but Emily just isn't on that list. Linkin Park should be ashamed for allowing this garbage to be aired live because long term this will ruin their legacy. RIP Chester.

So here is my opinion in all of this. So do people not realize how many other bands/celebrities that are in cult or crazy ass religions. Yet no one says anything about any of those people. So Slipknot is a satanic metal group and we adore them. So let me get this straight. (Which I listen to Slipknot as well)
Satan= ok and good?
Scientology= bad and evil?
Let's no also mention that you can find millions of way more controversial things that other artists have done. They would definitely make these accusations look like lollipops and rainbows. I'm going to list a few #1. On the list is Michael Jackson. He littlerly molested children and people still support his music today. #2 Jonny Cash was addicted to meth and opioids yet people still put him on a pedestal. #3 Good ol Bobby Brown he beat the shit out of Whitney Houston and got her addicted to coke. Yet people still support him. #3 Every one's beloved boxer was convicted of rape. You guessed it Mike Tyson. #4 Ozzy Osbourne bit the head off of a live bat on stage at a concert and was addicted to drugs his whole carrier. But we still love and adore him. Let's talk about how Aston Kutcher and Mila kunes wrote letters to support Masterson and talk about what a great guy he was. I can go on but I hope folks get the point here. The fact is everyone is being so hypocritical about this whole situation over something so small.
