Understanding the Visual Elements - LINE

Показать описание
This video is the first in a series about the Visual Elements of Art and Design. Every work of Art & Design contains at least one of these seven Visual Elements (Line, Shape, Tone, Form, Texture, Colour, and Pattern), whether the artist put them there on purpose or not. Better understanding the Visual Elements and how they work together can help artists and designers create more effective works of art/design.

This video focuses on the first element; Line. Paul Klee (1879-1940) gave line its best description to date: "A line is a dot that went for a walk.". There are four aspects of line; Direction, Length, Weight and Quality and we will explore each of this in this video.

Very clear. Nice way of introducing Line as an element in artists' toolbox...expressive, direction, etc. Thank you!
