My sweet mama, God rest her soul, only hit me one time. I had ask to go out with a older friend for the night.. (I was a dumb sheltered 17 year old)…. She of course told me No! I don’t know her or her people. As I turned to walk away, I thought my smart ass was out of hearing distance, when I whispered, b***h under my breath…. Before I could inhale another breath, her hand grabbed my shoulder twisted me around to her face before I even knew what was going down, I tasted BLOOD from her knuckles back handing my mouth, with that HUGE RING she always wore. To this day, every time I look at that ring ( she gifted me), there is a chip, I know down to my Toes, that’s from that one day she slapped tha shit outta my mouth. I miss and love my mama so much and she was right, that gal just wanted me to follow down that bad path…. Thank God for mama’s
