Calf Stretch (towel)

Begin by sitting upright on a comfortable surface in your neutral position.

Place your towel around the foot you wish to stretch and straighten your leg out in front of you.

Now take a deep breath in and as you breathe out, carefully pull your towel towards you.

Once you feel a comfortable stretch, hold the position and breathe normally.

You should feel the stretch in the underside of your foot up into the back of your lower leg.

Try to maintain your upright body position throughout the exercise.

To come out of the stretch safely, carefully release pressure from your towel to return to your starting position.
