Government is a bit more scary, when there is no legal privacy any more, facebook's privacy issues are not the issue, is fb a neutral platform or a publisher(if they control content in any manner) it is a publisher, if they do not, they are a neutral platform. If they are a publisher, (which is their right), they can be sued for content.
