If she had sung that song with a band as often as Billie Holiday did, her vibratos would match perfectly. She has a Lambrghini voice and is driving on a learners permit at this stage in her career. In others words, she's got a fast car as is just learning how to drive safely and smoothly at this point. She has all of a week of her public singing career under her belt.

I don’t know if anyone else commented on this, but for me, besides her technical expertise, is the fact that she touches my heart. She creates an emotional response in me, where she controls my mood, from laughter to tears. Technically perfect? No, but it matters not.

Angelina has an absolute understanding of the lyrics of every song she sings. Angelina is all about love and she finds the love in every song and interprets that love and it sometimes varies from the original artist's interpretation. The x's and o's are certainly subject to analysis but the love in her heart is something we can only marvel at. It grabs our attention to such a degree we feel it in our own hearts. She works very hard at her trade and her ability to communicate her feelings of love to us with a voice which is literally out-of-this-world combine to put us in a state of awe WHICH NEVER ENDS. When you sit back and get ready to listen to her sing another song, whatever your expectations might have been, after 'one note' she already has you in her pocket and off you go into Angelina's world WHICH IS ALL ABOUT LOVE.
Aaron, I know it will never happen but I would love to chat about her with you. I thought of the following scenario: If you and I were riding on a bus, talking all the while and totally unknown to us the bus pulled into it's final destination. The bus driver turned off the motor and walked back to us (the only remaining passengers on the bus) and told us, "I don't where you two guys are going, or wanted to go, but this is the end of the line!"

There's another video of her in the studio singing this when she's 12. Sings a line, looks at Grandma to see if it was OK, does another line, looks at Grandma again. It's extremely cute, as if she's doubting herself and double checking with Grandma.

Why is it selfish to listen to a musical genius, Angelina is so special and talented, she has a beautiful silvery vibrato and a beautiful soulful jazzy pitch perfect voice, she is the perfect vocalist and is known by her fans as the Queen of jazz with a thousand different styles and voices, I’ve attended 4 of Angelina’s live concerts, her stage presence is outstanding her live vocals phenomenal, Angelina is probably the most talented artist today, !

Her penultimate performance on NGT ("Bang, Bang") and final performance ("Summertime") are essentially her intro to the world as a professional performer, as you will see . . . . AJ moved from a very talented 7-year-old with enormous potential to a completely confident "seasoned" singer in a matter of months during the course of this show.

She's devastatingly good..Think about it, while girls of her age were playing dolls, she was chasing her life's dreams and goals, at THAT age..WOW!!

The release dates are not hard set as they were transfered to YouTube given their timing. They were posted by the organizers. We know she was 7 for the first performance. She was most likely 8-year-old at this point judging by her teeth. Angelina began arranging her performances from the beginning. She's well known for not only arranging the lyrics, as well as the music. Judge Omer Bhatti observed her arranging the piece for her accompanying musician, and he said he now fully saw her at work, as a pro.

Thank you Aron, it's fine to critique her, the master was just waiting for the body to catch up, no other artists touch me in anyway like Angelina it is an undefinable thing that you experience with the heart, it is everything she is, if I reduce it to simply say she is the embodiment of unconditional love and that is woven through everything then it is her voice or I should say voices as there are many many constantly multiplying and evolving, it colours everything she says and does, she has become along with her family . family to us, she is adored like a granddaughter or daughter or sister or someone you would trust your heart with, I have listened to her every day since I discovered her this, has never happened before through a lifetime of artists, It is not comparable to anyone else, she has been an endless joy and a permanent light in my heart, 💜👣💎

This performance makes clear that, by this point in her life, Angelina was absolutely a prodigy with respect to jazz vocals. She's just an extremely rare talent.

Part of what many of us love about Angelina are her perfect imperfections. It is something that makes her so much more _real_ to us than many other singers.

Another incredibly important reaction for us Angelina fans. I believe the she was still 7 when this was recorded, but some think she had just turned 8. I assume it takes a while to organise live shows, so a significant time gap between recorded auditions and live performances makes sense. A large part of her appeal, it has to be said, is to see a little child with immense talent grow before our eyes into a superstar singer. Watching these early pieces, one can feel the later mature singer struggling inside the little body, desperate to get out and show herself. Indeed, listening to this performance one can almost hear Billie Holiday's voice emanating from somewhere beyond. Speaking personally, I am captivated by Angelina because she evokes an emotional response in me I have NEVER experienced with any other singer. The quality of her technical ability is what facilitates that, but it is that connection with the soul that makes me keep coming back to her. (Maybe I'm a fool, too, but I have no complaints!)

Maybe because I struggled with it at this age as a pianist, but I was impressed that she kept accurate time throughout this performance. Even a very experienced singer would have trouble keeping the same tempo in a competition with judges and cameras focusing on her. Most kids tend to speed up as the song goes along. Along with the pitch, she just doesn't seem to ever struggle with such things. Even when she is older and adds more vocal gymnastics she never seems to be applying any effort, the music just flows out of her.

For years I've wanted someone to use pitch and vocal analysis tools with Angelina's performances. Numerous time I've argued with "reactors" claiming she's using pitch correction and autotune software. Specifically one claimed her vibrato and sustained pitches were electronically enhanced with, I Put A Spell On You
