EVs have worse average reliability than hybrids. Mostly because Toyota hasn't really jumped into the EV game yet.
When they do, EVs will be far and away the best option for 75% of the population.
For now, if you're a practical person, get a hybrid, specifically a Camry or the next gen Rav4.
