I have an upcoming Video about removing a Transmission and had originally figured I would create an "All in One" Video but ended up changing my mind cause the Video would have turned out to lengthy to watch.
Stay tuned for the upcoming transmission change Video!!
Thank you for watching.

I have an 06 f150 I was dreading the idea of doing that seal since it's leaking, but you made it look easy I'm excited now

My '04 Town Car is leaking here. I wasn't excited about dropping the axles and replacing the crush sleeve. This way is perfectly fine. Thank you for making it easy and simple to understand.

Been doing it this way for many many years, never any problems.
5 seconds later hits thumb with hammer.
Too funny!
It's happened to me too..

You mentioned the echo but it did not reflect on the vid. It was nice and clear. This is one of the best i dont need to turn this into a project. I just need to get the job done. Thank you for sharing

Nice work. I did mine today. Looks n feels better... i probably do a flush next weekend as for some reason I had in mind I lose all my fluid during the Change. Only took little bit fluid so I still need to drain n fill

Thank you, sir
I'm apprenticing and having no luck with the seal puller tool. Believe I'll try it your way here after lunch

Good video, you did not mention what you measured with the caliper i believe was de nut with the end on pinion wasn't it ? . I think for better job was to remove cover inspect and refill with new fresh fluid, thank you.

Thanks for keeping your language clean. There are lots of automotive videos about all kinds of stuff that many presenters have foul language. So a BIG thanks.

This guy is a pro & can go by feel but novices should probably index that pinion nut or count number of turns. Accidentally over tightening will over crush the sleeve and could damage the carrier bearings which is a whole nother bag of worms.

Like I said, this guy could probably do this with his eyes closed and just go by sound and feel. The rest of us... IDK LOL

Dang...wonder if auto zone has a puller I can borrow?
(edit same day, later) I just bought the puller $40. Was a snap! The original seal lost it's elasticity....(163, 000 mi) Thanks Ralf.

I thought mined still leaked but it was just excess differential oil dripping from the old one which was destroyed. My 03 ram 1500. Best thing to do is clean the area so you can see if it’s still leaking or just give some time
