WHY STUDYING IN INDIA SUCKS?? WHERE DOES INDIA STAND IN EDUCATION?

In India students are not given choice to select their field of interest. One must become an engineer or a doctor! Sports and arts are considered to be made for leftovers. If you don’t get admission in science or commerce stream; you choose arts. This is what Indians feel.

India participated for the first time in 2009, they selected only two people from Tamil Nadu and Himachal Pradesh and India ranked 73 out of 74 countries, and that’s a SHAME!

Instead of developing the Indian Education System, the government of India has chosen not to participate.

I hope the government takes certain appropriate policy measures to improve the education system otherwise inequalities are going to be widespread and India’s basic capabilities will remain stunted.

I don't wanna concentrate on the point that "STUDYING IN INDIA SUCKS" but the truth is....it is, instead BRING UP A CHANGE! the greatest thing you can do to BRING UP A CHANGE is by sharing this video, share this video with your friends, teachers and family members.

A Short story about India's future:
An Old aged Chinese man went to Brahma and asked when will China become a developed nation. Brahma replied it will happen in another 10 years. The Oldman cried saying he won't be alive till then to see his country developed.
A Brazilian guy asked the same question about Brazil to Brahma. Brahma replied it wud take 25 years for Brazil to become a developed nation. The Brazilian cried saying he won't be alive till then to see that. Then an Indian asked the same question about India. Brahma cried saying he won't be alive till then to see India a developed nation! 😂😀

it is okay to be optimistic
I am 100% sure that india will soon became one of the best country in the world
we have to work for it
we don't want to be a super power
what does it mean to us it only means that we are strong
but what about other things
like literacy, poverty, hygiene, quality of life etc
we have to work really hard for our better future

Some problems of Indian education system are
* Reservations at all levels
* Quality of schools in providing facilities
* Funding for the government universities
* Irresponsible of all stakeholders like teachers, professors and administration.
* Public inability to pay for the quality education

Indian education system is the worst in the world. I understand this even better now that my son is part of it. Firstly, its boring and tidious. Secondly its totally ineffective. We pay a lac towards school fees and end up teaching our child ourselves. The teachers blame the mqnagement and the management blames the teacher but more importantly majority of parents have got it all wrong. They want long school hours and less number of holidays and more homework. My son carries a heavy bag to school everyday and studies three languages inspite of going to CBSE school. Studying regionql language is a must till 10th irrespective of where you come from. There is no contribution from schools to identify a child's potential in a specific area. Teachers in private schools draw a salary of 10 to 15 K which makes teaching a secondary profession that mostly women take up just to stay busy where as in govt. municipality school the teachers are getting paid more than 40K after the 7th pay commission but due to corrupt system only ineffective teachers mostly from rural india get this job after paying bribes and political recommendations. Ineffective education system creates ineffective leaders and ineffective leaders are incapable of changing the system. Its a viscious cycle that can never break.

The education system is too faulty .I M in 11th science nd I feel myself tortured while memorizing chemistry equations which includes many things we need not know. It's never gonna improve.

So I just wanted to update you guys on one thing. While India participated in the PISA exam back in 2009, alot has changed since then. In 2018, India decided to retake the PISA exam and do better.

To that extent, it has identified 4 places that will participate in the exam in 2021, it has already made quite a few changes in the NCERT syllabus to that extent. The system has significantly changed from a traditionally rote learning system to a skill development and problem solving system.

Are the changes enough? Let's see.
What we can gauge though is, by attempting to retake the exam, India is trying to change its system and move ahead into an OECD standard, which it'll will keep working on to improve.

PS- I'm a doctor. Where earlier India's entrance exams was entirely based on rote learning, it has now changed to a skill and aptitude testing exam.

I'm British of Indian origin, a couple of years ago my father made me move to India to live with my grandparents and attend school here...

Let me tell you, the schools here suck (atleast the CBSE ones)... The teachers are always negative (with the exception of a few) and you barely have anytime to do anything but studying and complete homework.... Oh, and if you do somehow get some free-time, well... There's literally nothing to do here for entertainment, except movies and eating at restaurants.
