Love the Black Hills, of course I'm biased since I grew up in Sturgis. And yes, I own a Harley!

We are headed to Mt Rushmore tomorrow. It too expensive to haul our camper so we are just staying in hotels. When we get a President that will let us "drill baby drill!" we can afford to take our camper there.

We live in NC and just bought our 1st RV specifically to see and enjoy the sights - especially the East Coast, where I’ve never explored. Was so happy you mentioned NY and DC as those are two areas that are on the list. Glad to hear there ARE campgrounds available and you liked them . Will be saving this video for future use !!

Great video, as always. If visiting the DC area and you can live with no hookups (our 20 foot travel trailer is built to boondock) and have a smaller rig (I think the max is 35 feet), you should check out Greenbelt Park in Greenbelt, MD. It is owned by the NPS and with my Lifetime pass, the cost is only $10/night. Greenbelt is a stone's throw from the DC line (Greenbelt Metro station is nearby) in a somewhat secluded area. We will be spending 3 nights there during our summer road trip from central FL to Maine, Canada and the upper midwest states (We will also be visiting Mackinac Island), and back. We used to live near the park before we relocated to FL so we are very familiar with it. Safe travels!

We thourally enjoy all your videos. We to are bikers. Well I say motorcycle enthusiasts. However we run heavy weight Indians. We would also like to go to sturgis and ride around there. Just have to figure out how to get the bikes and the camper there. Maybe someday. Thank you for all the videos.

Mackinac Island is also very dog friendly if you want to take your dog with you.

What an incredible life of education that you are giving to your kids! Wondering what they will end up doing professionally in their lives?? Maybe outdoor geology or something like that? Wonderful!!!

Just a FYI, but I saw an episode of Expedition X, they were investigating the mysteries of ghosts on the island.

We were also Harley riders! Rode our motorcycles to all 48 lower states and rented in Alaska and Hawaii! Love your channel!

Love the Mackinac Island shoutout! I just got home from a weekend training for our Girl Scout Mackinac Island Scout Service Program Troop! If you visit between Memorial Day and Labor Day, you'll see the Scouts (Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts) serving as guides around Fort Mackinac. Amazing program for Scouts from the state of Michigan. The troops stay on the Island at the Scout Barracks (just behind the Fort) and serve for a week.

If you camp at Wilderness State Park in Mackinaw City, you are a very short distance from the dark park where you have a good chance of viewing the Northern Lights (if the conditions are right).❤

My husband is from South Dakota too. We still have motorcycles and the motor home😁 been to Sturgis, 😁 love your sharing all the fun places you've been. I'm from Montana to West Yellowstone and Glacier numerous times. Been many places in Wyoming. However we want to go in the motor home and explore more. ❤️

We did the Narrows and just water shoes, our feet were so messed up. Definitely agree with renting the boots.

In South Dakota I thought the Crazy Horse Memorial was very nice. I would visit Hill City and the Crazy Horse memorial again in a heartbeat.
