Sure it's difficult to ollie a longboard, but the trick is in shifting ALL of your weight forward to even it out.

The differences are in the board types
The dancer is broader and longer board, that has a bigger nose and tail to make room for dance moves.
The downhill is designed to reach high speeds and be more stable.
the Drop trough is a standard one with trucks that go through the board so it is completely flat but because it is close to the ground it is more stable

Wow the comments section for this video is utter madness. But those ollies are impressive (especially the drop through as being lower to ground I imagine much less pop) having recently got a skateboard, after longboarding, the main differences are that ollies are easier on that and when you mess up a longboard you have a whole load of board under you waiting to ruin your day. That aside I would love to see you ollie a loaded vanguard lol.
