SpaceX, X, Chevron, Oracle, Toyota, Charles Schwab... no doubt about it, Gavin Newsom is favored to win U-Haul's "Salesman of the Year"!

I love the way this gentleman carefully dances around the reasons for leaving California.

What he really wanted to say is this: Democrat policy bad. Republican policy good.

California and Venezuela are the same place just 10 years of socialism apart.

Moving away from California, the best thing!

Your share holders will make more money when you get moved to Texas. Texas likes oil and energy companies and good paying jobs. California hates those thing apparently.

It looks like there's not going to be anyone left to actually pay taxes in California

Congratulations to Chevron on getting the hell out of greedy AF California and their ridiculously high tax rates. As a CPA, I will be out of here as soon as my family commitments end.

It was always weird to me there would be a major oil company in CA. Wonder what took them so long…

As a lifelong Houstonian, I had no idea Chevron wasn't HQ'd in Houston until this news came out.

This guy is smooth, you just can't stump him! Wish I too could work for Chevron.

Well, I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises plummeting stocks that were once revered and I don't know where to go here out of devastation.

I live a little North of Houston, and this morning rode my bicycle in wooded business and residential park space around the headquarters of ExxonMobil, Hewlett Packard, and Southwestern Energy. Plenty of room for Chevron. Come on down.

It is sometimes amusing to hear that it NEVER has anything to do with politics, for example, that a company moves its headquarters from California to Texas. Why not just be honest?

The only American who won't acknowledge this Administration's failed economic policies is Joe Biden. "Shrink-flation' is the least of our worries compared to rising rents and stagnant wages, but it is an undeniable indicator of how bad our inflation has gotten. I have $100k that i like to invest in a non-retirement account, any advice on that?

Just own both XOM & CVX, can't go wrong at least over the next 12-18 months.

A lot of people don’t known this, but California used to be the largest oil producing state in the country at one point. It still has a massive amount of oil offshore that’s untapped a long with tons of shale in the Central Valley. We all already know why drilling has declined, I don’t even need to mention it. Cvx ceo highlighted many of them…
