Productivity Tips for Work From Home Moms & Handmade Business Owners

If you’re a work from home mom and you’re struggling to get more done and be productive in your business, this video is for you. I’ve brought on my very good friend and business buddy, Stacey Trock who’s a mom and who also runs her own business. I met Stacey in 2013. She started and used to run Fresh Stitches, an amigurumi crochet pattern business. She’s written crochet books, she’s taught classes on Craftsy or BluPrint, and Creative Live, and in a ton of fiber arts conference. You might have heard of her. She sold Fresh Stitches a few years ago and now freelances as a marketing consultant, copywriter and social media expert. I figure, since I don’t have any human kids of my own, that Stacey would be the next best person to bring on to share with you how to be more productive as a work from home mom.

Great work! One thing that has helped me work from home (especially if others are around) is to use a stoplight system of red, yellow or green depending on what I was doing to stop getting interrupted.

When I babysit for my friend (they don't mind me doing my work while at there home babysitting. The little boy loves to help me by putting the threads and little scraps of fabric in the garbage. 🙂😀🙂

Interesting video! :) I have been struggling with productivity lately, I feel like the quarantine stalled my progress😪 I recently uploaded a video sharing how focusing on progress instead of perfection has helped me reach more of my goals. I do have productive days, but when I have a bad day I don't let it drag me down :)

Your videos have been a huge help! I was wondering what your thoughts were on starting a business with a product that is currently trending? I'm looking at starting a macrame decor business but trends are always changing so I'm not sure if this is a good idea, or if there is a way to 'evolve' the business according to new trends?
