so I live right down the street here in Spokane from a Superspreader event currently happening at the local school bus depot. At least 80+ personnel have it so far, 30-40 of them drivers and attendants, with at least one death within the last week. All this started when schools started back into session about 3 weeks ago. Just saying if you want to open up, dont play stupid or cowboy about it and take the precautions seriously cause you can be dead in a week over this, plain and simple

We can NOT decriminalise large amounts drug possession as a crime yet! Are they saying that Pablo Escabar can walk on the streets dispensing narcotics?

I approve of the act of decriminalising drugs *at SOME point* but Washington does NOT have the infrastructure in place to take in these lost, desperate people.

I am a retired psychiatric nurse and I am telling everyone that mental health and drug issues are practically interchangeable. Americans and Washingtonians don't want massive detoxes cluttering up their streets and suburbs; they want more prisons, more inmates and more "get them ANYWHERE off the streets, just get them out of my SIGHT!" Everyone's a hypocrite and we simply do not have anything in place to handle the masses of these addicts and mentally ill in an effective, clean and SAFE place for these people to go.

How is Seattle planning on improving what is already happening on the city streets? People are ignored while doing blatant crimes NOW; the city is running these ongoing sweeps to get the homeless out of sight, but they have nowhere for them to go. The city doesn't give the homeless contacts to help these people, they are simply moved, pushed off of, say, Denny Park, but those people have nowhere to go either.

Hey! City Council! Your social experiment has FAILED! Stop surfing your desk into retirement are DO SOMETHING! SEATTLE IS DYING!

Open safely, one year shut down enough, there are homeless people out there living. We need to continue investigate on COVD-19 👹, but not shut down. India has resume full activities. Economy, climate change need attention.

New York Times;
"One year later, the Seattle area has the lowest death rate of the 20 largest metropolitan regions in the country. If the rest of the United States had kept pace with Seattle, the nation could have avoided more than 300, 000 coronavirus deaths."
Thank God we have a Democratic run state huh?
