Your Pixel 6 Pro doesn't support Wifi 7. You can't test speeds of Wifi 7 without a Wifi 7 client like the One Plus 11 5G. Yes Wifi 7 still uses 5 GHz and 6 GHz like 6E but it has Multi Link Operation (MLO) so it can use several bands 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz simultaneously. Your tests are testing it only in 6E mode and therefore do not properly represent the potential of the router. Someone watching this review and seeing only the performance of 6E will be mislead.

I can’t believe there’s no other reviews on this device, other than this one Way to go High Tech Point!

Thanks for the review. I've been looking at this particular router and trying to find a decent review to go off of. Thanks, it was very helpful.

Looks like we’re gonna have to buy this soon, like 3-5 years from now. For now I’m happy with my WiFi 6E router. Hahaha!

Thanks for the review. It helped me make a decision on which router to buy. I ended up buying TP-Link AXE16000 Quad-Band WiFi 6E Router.

Great Review. I ordered one as well and waiting for it to arrive, next month :) It gives me high hopes of improving my connection speeds across the apartment.

Would have liked to seen testing on the LAN side of it, to verify you do get full 10gb over it.

I don't understand, WiFi 7 isn't finalized. Will this router be compatible with the finalized WiFi 7?

Iperf3 tests matters more than your internet speed. Thanks for sharing!

Great review! Do you have a recommendation as to what modem to use with it? I know it has to be compatible with your ISP but wanted to know what I would need to actually utilize this router

amazing review, wondering will this be 3 ssid, one for each band or one ssid to handle all 3 2.4 ghz, 5 ghz and 6 ghz band?

I would like to have seen test done all the ethernet ports I have seen some of these routers with the 10 Gb port, but don’t have the full performance of 10 Gb

I want 6 months usage test. I am about to buy - if I find it anywhere - this router - DUE to ports not the wifi, I need as many 10GbE and 2, 5GbE as I can buy but also with wifi. Please tell us about 'freezing' of this router when around 70 devices are connected, what about 'auto-rebooting' ? Is that fixed?

Your results for the 6GHz tests are consistent with those expected of that band. The higher the frequency, the shorter the range it will be and the lower its ability to go through walls. So yes, 6GHz can be very much faster than 2.4GHz and 5GHz but only when the device is close to the router. At longer distances, and/or through more walls, 2.4GHz is actually more reliable though a lot slower.

In any case, Wifi 7 is, as of now, still not official yet so the standards are still subject to change. And as some in the comments here have pointed out, the speed results seen here do not represent to true capabilities of this router as the device used to connect to the router does not support Wifi 7. But still a good reveal of this router overall.

Very informative. Can you advise if you can keep the SSID's for 2.4, 5, 6/7 separated. I know the DECO range forces you to merge the 2.4 and 5 which is a showstopper for me.

Was it really a good idea to keep the antennas internal for this router? There is a range reason why the antennas are external to the unit on most other routers...

A little too early for me to have Wi-Fi 7 as this thing doesn't even have external antennas. I'll stick with 6E for now as I have last year's high-end model.

Wonder what is the throughput on the 10GB to make this router worth the price.
