Well considering Wi-Fi 7 won't even be officially fully supported until December of 2024 I would hope by the time 2025 or 2026 rolls around that it would have some better performance

Great review. My main interest for this router is the wired 10gb and 2.5gb ports. My ISP serves me 5gb fiber and I have a 10gb switch and a 10gb NAS so I have totally moved away from a 1gb based network. Nothing less than a 2.5 wired home network will do for me now. The only thing I have wireless is a smart TV on my upper level and that is running off a TP-Link 6E Mesh until plugged in upstairs.

Thank you very much for the video..
I didn't expect the results of the longer distances..
I think the speed is governed by many factors..
Am looking forward to receiving mine next week and have my own experience with it❤

Does the mesh system have to be from the same brand for it to work?or can you have different brands work together ?

Is this accurate? Your results for be9300 was better than this be800?

I think he's talking in MB/s not Mbps
Bit ≠ Byte - it's a 8:1 conversion

Thanks for the video. The vertical diagram of that house is not very indicative of the environment you are testing in... what walls or obstacles were between the router and the clients? What kind of material is the ceiling of the basement, concrete? Does it have rebar? wire mesh? In the basement, did you have direct line of sight between the router and the client device? Was the furniture? Was the router of top of a desk (4ft height?) was it on top of a shelf? at least 8ft high? Walls and obstacles cause attenuation... so do metal shelves, wire mesh, couches, refrigerators... like, Floor Plans would better show the environment you are testing in.... (Been deploying Aruba Enterprise stuffs, and floor plans, whether Enterprise or small business or home use, floor plans regardless of vendor/brand/standards, Floor plans are essential nowadays...)

Nice review, but I wish you had also covered the 2.4 Ghz band. I have a lot of smart devices in my home and sadly most still only work on the 2.4 Ghz band. So it would be nice to know how good the coverage was at a distance.

Awesome Review - I was waiting for WiFi 7 products. But after your review, i guess i will keep my WiFi 6e Router for now.

I actually ended up getting this router about a month and a half ago and recently installed it about 2 weeks ago and can't say that I've benefited from the router unfortunately. I also bought a new Cable Modem, the Netgear (2050V) which is a very powerful Cable Model and still aren't seeing the results as should. I've got an Internet plan now of 1GB with Spectrum with Cat8 Cables running through both. Not even sure what's the next move but I'd like to keep this router despite the crazy cost for the Wifi7 Capabilities.

thanks for review, I wonder if you have smart TV and you could test wifi speed with this router on your TV
I have LG OLED 2023, LG ethernet port limited to 10/100, my connection is 1Gb/s not happy with ethernet port not going further than 87 mb/s and on wifi5G (wifi AX both my router and TV )max I get is 170 mb/s

I would appreciate if you have any smart TV you do test for me with this router next to TV
also in case of power outage does router automatically back to internet in case we are not at home for a while for security cameras connected to it , some router in market wont and we need to reconnect them back again which are pointless for above reason Thank you :)

I still havent tested 6GHz but 5GHz has been plenty enough for me. When using 2.5G ethernet can get around 1.7gbps over WiFi on my S23 Ultra and about 400ft away in the bedroom can get around 1.3gbps with just regular WiFI 6 when using a ASUS AX11000

Based on the TP Link product and wifi 7 standard, we should be able to achieve 10 gpbs. why you cannot achieve 10Gbps at basement near the router? I also cannot achieve 10 gbps

Capital MB in windows is not megabits but MEGABTYTES...!! 200MBPS is equal to 1600mbps....
