Now, when it comes to GOOD FREE VPN providers, it’s hard to find a better option than Proton VPN. Yeah, I know it has a paid version, and that’s why I’m recommending it: Proton can afford to run a free version. If a VPN is ONLY free, that just means it pays off expenses by selling your information to advertisers. Proton VPN doesn’t, to the point where it's written in the no-logs policy, which was audited for legitimacy by the way. Spoiler alert: you won’t find this guarantee of privacy in any other free VPN.

Further discussing security, I need to bring up this VPN’s strengths: encryption, the kill switch, and IP leak protection. These features are identical to the ones you’ll find in Proton VPN’s premium version, and they are on par with the top of the market. Of course, being a free version, Proton VPN has limitations - it’s only possible to connect to a few hundred servers in a limited country pool. I can only use the free version on one device at once as well, which is a bit annoying for anyone with a PC and a phone. Can’t be that many people.
