What are you running HIVEOS On? USB? SSD? mSATA? Floppy Disk?

You can actually just load from the USB directly to the hard drive through Hiveos using 2 commands in the remote shell access. Takes about 2 minutes and you don't need any other parts.

I picked up four Rebtechs back in February and I wish I had ordered a crate of them. They are my favorite mobo and make such an easy rig paired with one or two server psus. I started with hive on flash drives but after two crashed on me, I made the switch to the msata and they have been rock solid since.

I got one of this rebtech boards about 3-4 months ago for 200 shipping included. I saw them on amazon for over 1000, crazy. Same with the server psu basically doubled in price.

I bought the same rig used, hiveos is installed. How do I get the rig config on it? Do I need the USB Adapter? Or can I somehow copy it onto it?

I want to be able to “Toggle” between 2 OS’s, and set the boot order based on whether or not the system finds the drive with HiveOS on it. Don’t know how to do that with an M.2 SSD. Any thoughts?

What happens if the letter for the drive doesn't come up? Even if u unpluge it and disk manager won't see it after install.

Well, actually you can run from usb just fine, just transfer your read and writes off to your memory, and do the same with mSATA drive, it could kill noname drives

Don't need the adapter. You can image directly off the usb.
