Remember when you do this you will be wiping ALL data from that device so make sure you chose the correct disk!!!!!!!
1. diskpart
2. list disk
3. select disk 1 (or which ever disk you want to wipe/clean. Mine in this video was "disk 1"), yours may be different.
4. clean
5. Disk Management (to create the simple volume)
6. My Computer to format the new volume

I use etcher too but didn't know about the rig.conf file I could use to make it easier to get up and running. Thanks for the info.

keep getting an error saying if compressed file to check if it is corrupted. I have tried two different flash drives. Restarted, refreshed computer. downloaded, deleted, redownloaded, etc and nothing different

Is it ok to format an nvme ssd with ext4 in order to install the HiveOS or must it be formatted to Fat32?
