📐Mean and Standard Deviation control chart consists of a chart to track for the sample mean, , and a chart to track the sample standard deviation, s.
📏 Sample size must be the same for all samples and usually consists of greater than 10 measurements.
✏️ After about 20-25 samples, the chart is used to determine location, spread, and shape of the distribution of measurements.
📝 It is preferred over the mean and range chart because the standard deviation is a better measure of variation.
