In the town of Sakurada, where about half of the residents have special abilities, Kei Asai is a high school student and is able to remember everything. Misora Haruki is also a high school student and she has the power to reset the world by 3 days. If they use both of their powers together, they can go back in time by 3 days and retain their memory.

Kei’s “ability” is of course a real affliction but the difference is he can remember everything like the future of a different time line like the girl getting run over by a car. This is the biggest difference and what actually makes his ability very unique and interesting to me tbh 😌

Random Question I thought of: If Eri has the power to steal other people’s powers but she can’t use them, what would happen if someone else had that power? And that someone tried to steal Eri’s power; and let’s say it worked. But, they’re the same power.. so what would happen? Can the person still use their original power? Can they?!

I watched the anime some years ago. It was quite confusing, and some didn't really appreciate it, but it was a really enjoyable show if you can get pass through the complexities of the scenario, and something that deserves a rewatch for a better understanding or appreciation.

funny how superpowers are always so useful and cool, reality would be most everyone would have useless power like being able to make your hair grow on command/abilty to grow a giant toe/unable to move because you create gravity and it pins you to the ground/able to spit from your ears/able to repel water and never clean yourself/can see only in the red light spectrum etc etc..i want to see a movie that shows the useless powers

A town filled with literal superheroes and our protagonist is one of said Heroes, but with an ability that actually exists. (Granted, it probably doesn't come with the drawback that his memory will erode quickly from ~55 upwards as the human brain isn't meant to store so much data.)

I love the anime version of this one. Little confusing at first but as it goes on it became a good anime. Plus it has a better plot than the live action.
