I also remember watching this in my science class. Back then I had no appreciation for Charles Darwin as a genius, but now he is my utter role model and I come back to watch this occasionally.

I live a couple of miles away from Darwin's House, and have stood in his small study, looking at the same garden as Darwin did when he wrote his Origin of Species. I implore you all to visit if you ever get the chance.

Science and history are such beautiful and noble works. The gathering of data, the presenting of facts, the dismissal or acceptance of ideas through peer review.

If you don't use the socratic or scientific method than you'll almost never come to correct conclusions about the world.
Test your idea, if it matches observations than construct a theory, present that to peer review and if people cannot duplicate or observe the same results of your experiments and predictions than throw it out and start anew.

Who can argue with this method of learning things?
