Watched several other videos from major YouTubers who didn't have this vital information....now I see they were just peddling "cool" gadgets with little substance. Thank you - you've saved me money and time!

Thank you for an informative video! I decided to watch it because I’m upgrading my 11 to the 15 (that has usb-c) and wanted to explore MagSafe!

Made it this far...thanks for the insights...just getting a 13pro Max and reading as much as I can about MagSafe. I decided to go w/ a 45w Anker Nano II and may look again at the Belkin. Agreed that you have to read the fine print to see just what wattage is being dedicated to charge the device. Good video!

Thank you so much! This is the only video that responds to the question whether Magsafe is worth or not. 📈👍🏼 Not getting it.

Really solid video. MagSafe is more of a money making thing that’s maybe slightly more convenient. I can see MagSafe charging dashboard mounts being useful or 2/3 in 1 MagSafe charging pads being convenient since it can charge multiple devices using a single wire and electrical outlet. The MagSafe certified 2/3 in 1 pads tend to be pretty expensive though.

Why don’t they just make the charger with a longer cord? Sounds pretty simple.

I find MagSafe disconnects and reconnects randomly throughout the night. even worse when my phone is backing up or restoring.

I taped mine to the night stand. Works great.

I really wish you could just lose the cord all together. Charge the magnet (with the cord) detach it from the cord, stick it on the back of your iPhone and GO!! While i do see one or two good things about the way it is now, Personally there’s no use for this until it’s completely “wireless”. For now I’ll just stick with my usb-c lightning cables.

See You There !

… this week I got a 20 Eur “off the shelf” with a 20W brick and it reminded me that … a couple years ago I got to the same conclusion as now: It’s a drag to get the puck aligned with my Xʀ

And when it does align and then in a couple of minutes it simply stops charging at all ? Bummer …

Maybe it because of the brand (CHOETECH) never heard of it before but it has been a while since I’ve been looking for USB-C power bricks …
