I'm realizing that if we go back to the pre-schism days, the whole church was Catholic, and THAT'S what we need to reform to: Catholicism...because it's the truth before the disagreements and priests, and since the truth is constant and doesn't change, then it's still the truth today. My reasons for leaving:
1) The churches who cosmetically treated God as holy didn't recognize his authority
2) The churches who took God's authority seriously have no concept of holiness
3) Sola Scriptura, both the variety in what SS is and the variety of interpretation and the logical consequences of self as authority
4) Beliefs that directly contradict (ACTUALLY; not just silence) scripture

I think for America, blue states will always have Protestantism present but the red states will be mostly Catholic. A lot of conservatives do not want to keep up with the liberal changes anymore.
