Armando I can't thank you enough for your video's, I have started to study for the first time since the age of 15 when I had to leave school due to financial reasons, I am now 63 years old, I was beginning to despair, I felt as if I was never going to understand or grasp any of what I had to learn, you boosted my confidence and helped me understand, to the point that I AM FLYING THROUGH MY EXAMS...THANK

Not sure if anyone has asked you about the layer of the Melanocytes. You mention that they are in the Stratum Spinosum, but I believe they are in the Stratum Basale? I want you to know how VERY much I have appreciated your teachings and learned SO much!!! You are wonderful to educate and I learn so much from your drawings! You amaze me with your skills in drawing and teaching! You have helped me to get through multiple semesters of Advanced Physiology for Nurse Practitioners! Thank you!

Oh my god, you are hands down the kindest person on Earth for putting up all these videos. I really rely on your videos regardless of whether I understood the lecturer or otherwise. It's concise and full on information. Sometimes what you teach is more detailed than the lecturers gave. Can you please do a video on the types of tissues? I know it'll be a really long video to cover but please!

What I learned is Thick Skin (palms, soles of feet) has 5 layers including stratum lucid, Thin Skin where there are hair follicles has just 4. I can't tell you how much you have helped me make sense of physiology and anatomy. You are wonderful!

Armando you are a wonderful teacher and so excellent at explaining this material. If you are able to, though, a brief description (like symptoms) of the illnesses caused by microbes and deformities would add to our understanding! Just so we have something to connect the unfamiliar vocabulary to. Thank you so much for all your help!

Thank you Armando ❤.
That's great you mentioned some books say 4 skin layers some 5 ..
That's because of the fact that STRATUM LUCIDUM is only found in thick skin so it has 5 epidermal layers which is, on the contrary, absent in case io Thin skin (so 4 epidermallayers)...
Thanks again

Hi, in the Histology book of Michael Ross and Paulina Wojcief, it says that the smooth muscle cell around the hair fallicle begins in the subcutaneous layer and not in the dermis as you mention. :)
Unless you mention for another type of muscle around hair fallice that i havent read about...
